Patti Owens - President and CEO
Patti Owens

Patricia Owens is President and Chief Executive Officer of Sage Hill Partners. She founded the company in 2008 after serving as Chief Strategy Officer at Decision Strategies International (DSI). Before joining DSI, Patti held executive positions with the Procter and Gamble Distributing Company, Goldman, Sachs & Co., SEI Investments, Bryn Mawr Trust Company and PNC Bank. She currently teaches at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, where she serves as Head of Strategic Data Analysis at the Small Business Development Center.


In 2008, Ms. Owens was named one of "Pennsylvania's Best 50 Women in Business" by the state's Department of Community & Economic Development. She was also awarded the prestigious "Woman of Distinction" designation by the Philadelphia Business Journal that year.

Ms. Owens graduated from Princeton University, where she was All-American in both field hockey and lacrosse, and has an MBA from the Harvard Business School.



Jack May - Chief Strategy Officer
Jack May

Jack May is Chief Strategy Officer at Sage Hill Partners. He marries a passion for entrepreneurship with his extensive experience in executive leadership and proven track record for growing large and small businesses. Following graduation from business school, Jack developed strong general management and client focused marketing skills from six years of classical product management experience at Johnson and Johnson Consumer Products and Nabisco, two blue chip Fortune 50 consumer products corporations. In addition, Mr. May held various leadership roles in marketing, sales and product management during fourteen years with SEI Investments, a Fortune 1000 financial services company.

Mr. May holds a BS from Drexel University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Jack currently serves as a Senior Advisor in the Small Business Development Center at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.



Tricia Wellenbach - Practice Leader, Non-Profit Services
Tricia Wellenbach

Patricia Wellenbach leads Sage Hill Partners’ non-profit practice, and is an accomplished executive leader with a proven track record of delivering results. Her areas of expertise include strategic planning and strategy implementation, organizational dynamics and realignment, capacity building, succession planning and governance.

Ms. Wellenbach was previously the Managing Director for business development and strategy for Granary Associates. Prior to that, she raised more than $7 million as the Executive Director of The Wellness Community of Philadelphia, one of the country’s preeminent cancer support centers.

Currently, Ms. Wellenbach serves as Chair of the Board of the Avenue of the Arts, and she is also a trustee of Abington Health System. She holds advisory board positions with PNC Wealth Management, the United Way of SEPA, the National Philanthropic Trust and Thomas Jefferson University’s Breast Center.

Wellenbach is a cum laude graduate of Boston College School of Nursing and holds a certificate from the UCLA Healthcare Executive Program.



Fred Li - Head of Data Analysis
Fred Li

Fred Li’s consulting experience includes careers at Decision Strategies International and IBM Global Business Services. He managed the delivery of client projects including the planning, analysis, execution, and closing of engagements. His experience spans various industries and includes projects with numerous Fortune 500 companies, including Lockheed Martin, Wyeth, Citigroup, DuPont, Coca Cola and Disney. Mr. Li’s primary strategic focus in his work with large organizations was in the area of technological innovation, and he has worked closely with George Day and Paul Schoemaker (professors at Wharton’s Mack Center for Technological Innovation) on the topic. He has co-developed several patent pending designs.

Mr. Li holds a Masters in Systems Engineering, a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering, and a minor in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania.



Ben LeDonni - Managing Director, Technology Services
Ben LeDonni

Ben LeDonni acts as Managing Director of Technology Services at Sage Hill Partners. In addition, he recently launched Creative Multimedia Solutions to combine his entrepreneurial spirit with his love for technology. Mr. LeDonni worked as a Software Engineer for Lockheed Martin, and served as the Chief Software Architect and Product Development Manager on multiple websites. With a deep technical understanding, he is able to bring any project from an idea to reality.

Mr. LeDonni holds both undergraduate and Masters Degrees from Villanova University.



Hedy Baker - Marketing Communications Services
Hedy Baker

Hedy Baker is an accomplished communications professional with more than twenty years of experience providing strategic planning and tactical execution of internal (employee) and external (media, analysts) communications at global technology companies such as HP/Compaq and Unisys.  Highly effective at distilling complex information into compelling, succinct and customized deliverables such as articles, e-newsletters, e-mails, press releases, case studies, webcasts and podcasts for intranets, websites and print, Ms. Baker leverages expertise as both a writer and editor.

Ms. Baker holds a Master’s Degree from Antioch University and an undergraduate degree from Temple University.



Debra Brosan - Practice Leader - Executive Coaching Services
Debra Brosan

Debra Brosan has extensive leadership experience in various organizations within different industries.  At 30 years old, she was named President of a family owned packaging company, where her leadership in operations and strategic management were essential to the company's success.  For the past decade, she has applied her business experience to organizational development.  Debra has consulted with small and large groups, non-profit organizations, Fortune 500 companies, the federal government and family-owned businesses, both locally and internationally.  Debra's areas of expertise include:

  • Designing and facilitating change in human processes to strengthen infrastructure and improve productivity

  • Organization analysis/assessment

  • Strategic and business planning, change and transitions

  • Leadership development, specifically with senior leadership teams

  • Executive coaching

  • Board development

Ms. Brosan graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and continued taking graduate business courses.  She earned her Masters of Arts in Organizational Development from the Fielding Graduate Institute.



Jonathan Giaramita - Practice Leader--Operational Effectiveness
Jonathan Giaramita

Jonathan Giaramita, JD, MBA, has both a legal and business management background. His passion for improving business performance is evident in his accomplishments with turn-around management for small businesses. Jonathan has a deep understanding of key performance indicators across different levels of multi-functional companies, and also has significant experience working with family businesses.

Jonathan’s most recently served as Vice President of Quarry Tile, Marble & Granite, where he was integral in shaping the company’s vision and financial and operational business strategy. In addition to managing the day-to-day operations, Jonathan was responsible for generating sales, managing projects, developing supplier relationships and structuring corporate debt. Mr. Giaramita has experience dealing in international markets, particularly Southeast Asia. Given his legal background, he served as general counsel drafting and negotiating contracts, operating agreements and leases. Prior to QTMG, Mr. Giaramita practiced law as an attorney for Mendes & Mount, LLP where he advocated on behalf of his clients in complex commercial insurance litigation matters.

Mr. Giaramita holds a BS from Villanova University, a JD from Brooklyn Law School and an MBA from Columbia Business School.



Stefanie Kuonen - Associate
Stefanie Kuonen

Stefanie Kuonen is a forward-thinking Business Consultant. She challenges conventional thinking, is open and honest with her clients, and excels at developing ideas and strategies and putting them into action. Ms. Kuonen approaches client issues from an outside-in perspective. Partnering with her clients to gain an understanding of their organization, market, and customers, she uses this deep insight to drive innovative and actionable solutions that build a better business.

Across clients and industries, Stefanie has a tangible impact. Whether it’s a top mortgage insurance provider looking to weather the financial crisis or a public library system seeking a new vision, she helps her clients craft successful long-term strategies. Her analytical mindset and creative approach to problem solving is a recognized asset to her clients.

Stefanie’s engagement experience spans a plethora of industries including: healthcare, life sciences, real estate, financial services, education, and government. Some of the clients she has served include GlaxoSmithKline, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Merck, The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, National Association of REALTORS, Radian, Royal Bank of Scotland, Fee Library of Philadelphia, and US Navy.

Outside of consulting, Stefanie has also worked directly in the health care industry, holding administrative roles at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Medical School, and serving as an Emergency Room Technician at Frankford Hospital (Aria).

Additionally, Ms. Kuonen spent several years as a teacher for the international modeling and etiquette school, John Robert Powers. Stefanie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and serves as an alumni interviewer for Penn’s Admissions Committee.
